In Friday's league outing, the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), by a margin of 59-43.

The Wolves (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs go into the Heritage outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Portage defeated Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA), 54-49, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marion Center for a Heritage outing on Tuesday, January 30. Homer-Center will clash with a Stingers squad coming off a 53-51 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Stingers record now stands at 9-11.
