The Buccaneers now possess a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homewood for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Hoover will battle a Patriots team coming off a 43-24 league loss to Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 18-7.

The Wildcats (13-14) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Central was overwhelmed by Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL), 51-40, in a league battle.
