The Hopkins Royals basketball team scored 92 points and restricted the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights to 91 in the Royals non-league victory on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnetonka for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Hopkins will battle a Skippers team coming off a 83-80 non-league loss to Edina (Edina, MN). The Skippers record now stands at 12-2.

The Knights (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds come into the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Moorhead edged Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN), 71-67, in a non-league contest.
