Porter lost 60-43 in their recent league challenge against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 outing, on Tuesday, January 30. Huntsville will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 18-10 record after their 58-49 league win over Dayton (Dayton, TX).
