Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) and the visiting South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA), saw Iowa's basketball squad wallop South Beauregard by a margin of 74-41.

The Yellowjackets (23-3) will now prepare for their test against Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Broncos go into the non-league test with a 19-6 record. In their last test, Zachary was trounced by Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 54-52, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Jennings for a 3A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 30. South Beauregard will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-42 league win over Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-8.
