The Morgantown Mohigans basketball team scored 91 points and held the host John Marshall Monarchs to 36 in the Mohigans league triumph on Friday.
The Mohigans now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Morgantown will battle a Vikings team coming off a 77-43 non-league win over Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
The Monarchs (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Yellowjackets enter the Little Kanawha - West contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Williamstown triumphed over Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV), 82-43, in a league contest.
