In Friday's league outing, the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) basketball squad edged the visiting Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK), by a count of 51-50.
The Comets (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Salina (Salina, OK). The Wildcats go into the Five Lakes outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, Salina was tipped by Adair (Adair, OK), 71-40, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Inola for a Five Lakes outing on Tuesday, January 30. Sequoyah will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 67-43 non-league win over Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-3.
