Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Kee upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Kee Hawks host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to clash with the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Charles City won 87-83 in their recent league bout against Crestwood (Cresco, IA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Postville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 67-56 league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
