Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) and the visiting Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), saw Kellogg's basketball squad hold off Priest River by a tally of 53-48.

With the victory, Kellogg improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Orofino (Orofino, ID) to confront the Maniacs in a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Maniacs come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Coeur du Christ Academy Saints (Coeur d'Alene, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Priest River will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
