Texas High School Basketball - Kennard ripped by Slocum

The Slocum Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Kennard Tigers to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Springs for a 1A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Slocum will battle a Eagles team coming off a 77-26 league loss to Laneville (Laneville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.
The Tigers (6-21) will now prepare for their contest against Neches (Neches, TX). The Tigers enter the 1A Region IV District 27 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Neches was routed by Wells (Wells, TX), 52-51, in a league contest.
