With the victory, Sequoyah improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Roland (Roland, OK) to play the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Roland won 74-37 in their recent league challenge against Poteau (Poteau, OK)

Next up, the Cougars play the Howe Lions (Howe, OK) in a Big Eight challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Keys will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 62-43 league loss to Vian (Vian, OK).
