The LaGrange Grangers basketball team (LaGrange, GA), was nudged 65-64 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA)

The Wildcats now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Clayton for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Saturday, January 27. Whitewater will confront a Eagles team coming off a 73-58 league loss to Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-15.

The Grangers (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Trinity Christian edged Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA), 48-46, in a league battle.
