The Manchester Lancers basketball team (Midlothian, VA), was nudged 57-54 in Friday's league battle with the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA)
The Skyhawks now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monacan for a Dominion battle on Wednesday, January 31. L.C. Bird will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 63-56 league loss to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-8.
The Lancers (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Titans come into the Dominion battle with a 11-4 record.
