In Friday's league outing, the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN), by a count of 55-53.
The Bobcats (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Hardin County (Savannah, TN). The Tigers go into the 3A District 12 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Hardin County was tipped by Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN), 52-44, in a league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson North Side for a 3A District 12 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Lexington will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 52-49 league loss to Chester County (Henderson, TN). The Indians record now stands at 7-8.
