Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Life Way Christian Warriors (Centerton, AR), 73-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Yellville-Summit upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Jasper (Jasper, AR) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 19-10. Jasper won 66-63 in their recent league bout against Kingston (Kingston, AR)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Eureka Springs Highlanders (Eureka Springs, AR) in a 2A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Life Way Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 5-14 record after their 44-36 league loss to Cotter (Cotter, AR).
