With the victory, Linn-Mar improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Wahawks confront the Kennedy Cougars (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Waterloo West will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
