Georgia High School Basketball - Manchester edges Taylor County

The Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA) basketball nipped the host Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA), 45-39 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Patriots go into the A D2 Region 6 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Greenville got by Marion County (Buena Vista, GA), 59-58, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Schley County for a A D2 Region 6 test on Saturday, January 27. Taylor County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-58 league loss to Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
