The Rivercrest Colts basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Manila Lions to 60 in the Colts league victory on Friday.
The Colts now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corning for a 3A Region 3 contest on Saturday, January 27. Rivercrest will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 81-58 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 15-8.
The Lions (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Hornets come into the 3A Region 3 contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, Harrisburg prevailed over Piggott (Piggott, AR), 52-43, in a league contest.
