Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 67-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to play the Blue Thunder in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Blue Thunder come into the bout with a record of 17-7. Belvidere North won 51-38 in their recent league bout against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Sabres come into the bout with a 1-22 record after their 66-51 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
