South Bulldogs (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marion-Franklin Red Devils (Columbus, OH), 80-48 in a league bout.

With the win, South upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Briggs (Columbus, OH) to play the Bruins in a Columbus City - South bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Briggs lost 66-40 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Marion-Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Blue Aces go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 56-34 non-league win over Lakewood (Hebron, OH).
