The Roosevelt Roughriders basketball squad scored 75 points and restricted the host McDaniel Mountain Lions to 51 in the Roughriders league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Grant (Portland, OR) to play the Generals in a 6A Portland challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Grant won 76-48 in their recent league challenge against McDaniel (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Grant Generals (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland challenge, on Saturday, January 27. McDaniel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 69-64 league win over Benson Tech (Portland, OR).
