Pleasant Home Eagles (Andalusia, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL), 67-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Home upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Eagles host Red Level (Red Level, AL) to play the Tigers in a 1A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Red Level lost 66-54 in their recent non-league bout against Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. McKenzie will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 2-22 record after their 66-46 non-league loss to Brantley (Brantley, AL).
