Waynoka Railroaders (Waynoka, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Medford Cardinals (Medford, OK), 42-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waynoka upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Railroaders host Canton (Canton, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Canton lost 60-34 in their recent non-league bout against Okeene (Okeene, OK)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 58-20 non-league win over Cimarron (Lahoma, OK).
