With the victory, Mesquite improves its record to 10-17 on the campaign. The Skeeters travel to North Forney (Forney, TX) to confront the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 12-17. North Forney lost 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Rockwall-Heath Hawks (Rockwall, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Royse City will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record.
