New Jersey High School Basketball - Middlesex can't hold off South River

January 26, 2024: South River, NJ 08882

The South River Rams basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Middlesex Bluejays to 51 in the Rams league victory on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spotswood for a Greater Middlesex - Blue contest on Saturday, January 27. South River will battle a Chargers team coming off a 84-76 league win over Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 11-5.

The Bluejays (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the Greater Middlesex - Blue contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Metuchen edged Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 49-46, in a league contest.
