With the victory, Mio-Au Sable upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI) to play the Owls in a North Star challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Monday, January 29. Whittemore-Prescott will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 56-43 league win over Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI).
