California High School Basketball - Montgomery crushes Otay Ranch

January 26, 2024: Chula Vista, CA 91913

Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the host Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 60-27 in a league game.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA) in a Mesa game, on Wednesday, January 31. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 21-2 season record. The Barons enter the game with a 13-12 record after their 81-70 league loss to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA).

With the defeat, Otay Ranch moves to 8-17 on the year. The Mustangs travel to San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to face the Cougars in a Mesa game on Wednesday, January 31. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 5-18.
