The Moore Lions basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Norman North Timberwolves to 50 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capitol Hill for a 6A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Moore will battle a Redwolves team coming off a 86-26 league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, OK). The Redwolves record now stands at 3-12.
The Timberwolves (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Edmond North (Edmond, OK). The Huskies come into the 6A District 1 contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Edmond North prevailed over Deer Creek (Edmond, OK), 59-52, in a league contest.
