Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), 54-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Williamsburg upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Blue Pirates travel to McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-2. McConnellsburg won 67-34 in their recent league bout against Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA)

Next up, the Black Knights/Damsels play the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Moshannon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Ramblers go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 53-44 league loss to North Star (Boswell, PA).
