The Riverside Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host New Brighton Lions to 26 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neshannock for a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Riverside will battle a Lancers team coming off a 77-35 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 14-3.

The Lions (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine enter the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 10-7 record.
