North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Alamance holds off North Moore

January 26, 2024: Robbins, NC 27325

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) and the host North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), saw Southeast Alamance's basketball squad hold off North Moore by a tally of 54-51.

With the victory, Southeast Alamance improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Stallions host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. North Moore will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 66-37 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
