Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR), 71-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Sprague upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Olympians host South Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Saxons in a 6A Central Valley bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 6-11. South Salem lost 68-66 in their recent league bout against West Salem (Salem, OR)

Next up, the Vikings play the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) in a 6A Central Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 30. North Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Celtics go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 59-58 league loss to Sprague (Salem, OR).
