The Oakland Christian Lancers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Southfield Christian Eagles to 71 in the Lancers league victory on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarenceville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Oakland Christian will battle a Trojans team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 3-9.

The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Roeper (Birmingham, MI). The Roughriders come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Roeper edged Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI), 44-39, in a league contest.
