In Friday's league outing, the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX), by a margin of 81-37.

The Panthers (19-8) will now prepare for their outing against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 21-10 record. In their last outing, San Angelo Central was trounced by Frenship (Wolfforth, TX), 62-52, in a league outing.

The Bronchos now own a 7-21 record. They play next when they host Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Odessa will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 53-52 league win over Midland (Midland, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 12-14.
