The Osage City Indians (Osage City, KS) basketball nipped the host Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS), 52-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Council Grove was tipped by Lyndon (Lyndon, KS), 67-37, in a non-league outing.
The Chargers now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Iola for a Pioneer outing on Tuesday, January 30. Santa Fe Trail will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-54 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
