North Carolina High School Basketball - Southside ripped by Pamlico County

In Friday's league match, the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes basketball team scored a decisive 76-29 triumph over the Southside Seahawks.

In their next game, the Hurricanes meet the Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) in a 1A/2A Coastal Plains match, on Tuesday, January 30. Pamlico County will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Devil Pups enter the match with a 8-9 record after their 69-63 league win over Jones (Trenton, NC).

With the defeat, Southside moves to 3-16 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC) to meet the Panthers in a 1A/2A Coastal Plains match on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 14-6. Northside - Pinetown lost 87-62 in their recent league match against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC)
