With the victory, Prairie City-Monroe upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Greene County (Jefferson, IA) to play the Rams in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge on Monday, January 29. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Greene County lost 74-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Webster (Manson, IA)

Next up, the Bluejays play the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
