Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 71-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Petersburg upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Crimson Wave host Tabb (Yorktown, VA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Tabb lost 61-36 in their recent league bout against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a Central bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Prince George will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 59-56 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA).
