California High School Basketball - Polytechnic trounces Rio Hondo Prep

January 26, 2024: Arcadia, CA 91066

The Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) basketball crushed the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA), 72-51 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Moors go into the non-league test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Alhambra walloped Montebello (Montebello, CA), 48-39, in a league test.

The Kares now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Chadwick for a Prep test on Tuesday, January 30. Rio Hondo Prep will encounter a Dolphins squad coming off a 57-46 league loss to Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA). The Dolphins record now stands at 1-15.
