With the victory, Southwest upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-19.

Next up, the Parrots play the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 17-11 record after their 49-37 league win over Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX).
