The Wilson Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Rogers Pirates to 53 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkmont for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Wilson will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 64-35 non-league loss to East Limestone (Athens, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-17.
With the defeat, Rogers moves to 12-15 on the year. The Pirates host Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, January 29. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-7.
