The West De Pere Phantoms (De Pere, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Shawano Community Hawks (Shawano, WI), 71-63 in Friday's league test.

The Phantoms (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI). The Golden Beavers go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Beaver Dam went down by Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI), 79-54, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Seymour for a Bay test on Saturday, January 27. Shawano Community will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 78-67 league win over New London (New London, WI). The Thunder record now stands at 9-6.
