The South Medford Panthers basketball team scored 90 points and held the host Willamette Wolverines to 39 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Eugene for a 6A Southwest contest on Tuesday, January 30. South Medford will meet a Axe team coming off a 83-74 league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Axe record now stands at 10-9.
The Wolverines (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado enter the 6A Southwest contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, North Medford was routed by Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 59-51, in a league contest.
