Washington High School Basketball - Southridge can't hold off Walla Walla

The Walla Walla Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Southridge Suns to 46 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kamiakin for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest on Saturday, January 27. Walla Walla will battle a Braves team coming off a 78-62 league win over Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Braves record now stands at 15-2.

The Suns (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (Richland, WA). The Bombers enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Richland nudged Chiawana (Pasco, WA), 79-57, in a league contest.
