The West Hall Spartans basketball team (Oakwood, GA), was nudged 53-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA)

The Warriors now possess a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmer for a AAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 30. White County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 77-76 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-7.

The Spartans (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan was nudged by White County (Cleveland, GA), 49-35, in a league battle.
