Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 46-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oakdale upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA) to play the Raiders in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Central Catholic won 46-41 in their recent non-league bout against Downey (Modesto, CA)

Next up, the Lancers play the River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 27. East Union will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Riptide enter the game with a 5-16 record after their 48-40 league loss to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA).
