The Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) basketball nipped the visiting West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), 44-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record.
The Wolverines now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Alexandria City for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. West Potomac will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 60-32 non-league win over Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Titans record now stands at 8-7.
