The Boone Toreadors basketball team (Boone, IA), was overwhelmed 59-36 in Friday's league battle with the host A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA)
The Tigers now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll for a Raccoon River battle on Monday, January 29. A-D-M will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
The Toreadors (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats come into the Raccoon River battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Carlisle was overwhelmed by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 51-48, in a league battle.
