The Leyden Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Addison Trail Blazers to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willowbrook for a West Suburban - Gold contest on Tuesday, January 30. Leyden will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 12-16.

The Blazers (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets come into the West Suburban - Gold contest with a 19-8 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale South was nudged by Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 44-29, in a league contest.
