The Pinckney Pirates basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Adrian Maples to 36 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ypsilanti for a Southeastern - White contest on Tuesday, January 30. Pinckney will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 74-28 league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, MI). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-3.
The Maples (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Sand Creek was defeated by Summerfield (Petersburg, MI), 52-27, in a league contest.
